Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) is looking for one or two interns to join them in their Salt Lake City office for the summer of 2009. Interns will work with their legal and advocacy staff on ongoing litigation in federal court and administrative comments, protests, and appeals. Stipends are available, but we encourage interns to seek independent funding.
Qualifications: Entering 2L, 3L, or 4L at an accredited law school; excellent research, writing, and communication skills; strong work ethic that includes taking an initiative and producing thorough, dependable research; demonstrated commitment to working on environmental issues and advancing environmental protection.
