Clean Wisconsin leads the Global Warming Solutions Working Group for RE-AMP.  RE-AMP is an engaged and active network of nonprofits and foundations working on climate change and energy policy in a 7-state region in the upper Midwest. This ambitious project is aimed at transforming the upper Midwest energy sector into a model of clean, efficient and safe energy generation and use, while reducing global warming pollution economy-wide by 80% by 2030.

RE-AMP's core operations occur through 5 issue-based working groups. The working group issue areas are transportation, cleaning up coal, clean energy, energy efficiency, and global warming solutions. Working groups provide a forum for advocates to network and also provide direct support, coordinated tactics, and coordinated fundraising for member organizations.

Position Overview:

Clean Wisconsin seeks strong applicants to fill a full-time position conducting research, analysis and organizing work on state and regional global warming regulatory policies.  Part of the job will be supporting Clean Wisconsin's ongoing work to advocate for strong global warming policy adoption at the state and regional level, and part will be to staff a regional network (RE-AMP) of environmental groups working for adoption of strong global warming policies across the upper Midwest. 

Responsibilities: 

This position will work with the working group leader as well as other RE-AMP Network affiliated staff to perform the following primary job responsibilities:

Coordinating annual meetings for the working group and assisting with RE-AMP annual meeting. (40%):

Research, analysis and assisting with project coordination (50%):

Other tasks (10%):
