Introduction
At the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) and Springs Preserve, we pride ourselves in being a leader in the community.
The LVVWD provides water to more than one million people in Southern Nevada and is one of seven member agencies that make up the SNWA, an agency that addresses Southern Nevada's unique water needs on a regional basis.
The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre family attraction, featuring museums, galleries and gardens that convey a message of sustainable living in a fun, hands-on way while celebrating the history of Las Vegas.
The Southern Nevada Water Authority's Environmental Resources Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill a position within the Environmental Resources Division. Responsibilities include the collection, management and analysis of biological and other environmental monitoring data in Southern and Central Eastern Nevada; and related duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have training and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: Aquatic ecology and/or water quality, biostatistics, data management, wetland ecology, botany and/or biology. Salary: $67,768 annually
Hours of Work: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
