Seeking bids for a $16,000 contract to conduct a rapid assessment of the potential for Pacific salmon conservation in North Korea. The product desired is a rough assessment of North Korean salmon distribution, abundance and species diversity, a best expert judgment on the healthiest salmon rivers in North Korea, and a preliminary conservation strategy. The ideal candidate will have knowledge regarding fish conservation and water resources, and a working knowledge of Korean and/or working relationships with North Korean colleagues.
