Government Affairs Legislative Representative-Appropriations

National Parks Conservation Association, the nations leading national park advocacy organization, seeks a Legislative Representative to help design and implement legislative and administrative strategies that advance the organization's agenda with respect to National Park System appropriations, including NPS operations, maintenance backlog, and funding for Land and Water Conservation Fund-related needs. The Legislative Representative also is expected to handle other specific issue responsibilities, which may include the funding of national park infrastructure improvements, particularly transportation systems and related needs.

Qualifications: BS in political, natural or social sciences, advanced degree or JD preferred; 4-5 years legislative experience, preferably in appropriations as Hill staff or lobbyist; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong written/oral communications skills.
